Employment Opportunities Bulletin Board--These are difficult economic times and some of us may be facing the loss of a job as a result. As part of our parish outreach, we wanted to help in some way by providing a bulletin board in the gathering space (right next to our new pamphlet rack) for those seeking work, or employers seeking help. The purpose of the board is simple – to help those looking for work find it, and to help employers find good help. Iif you are a parishioner looking for work, or if you are an employer with a job opportunity, you may post a card on the board. The cards are available by the board and you simply fill in the appropriate information and tack the card to the board.
Are you doing family research (genealogy)? If you are searching for family members who may have been buried at St. Columba Cemetery, click on the following link saintcolumbacemetery.blogspot.com to get a detailed alphabetical listing of the names on headstones, along with available information and a photograph of the headstone. The material has been posted in support of local history and for free use by people doing family history research. Our thanks to Bob O’Keane for completing this project.
